Europa League Matchday 2 Predictions
There are some really good value bets involving Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt in particular – and plenty of other great matches and betting opportunities this week with Bundesliga and Premier League clubs among those competing.
Bayer 04 Leverkusen face a trip to Celtic and Eintracht Frankfurt travel to Royal Antwerp in search of a first win while West Ham host Rapid Vienna and struggling Leicester face an intriguing trip to Legia Warsaw.
Other big ties include favourites Napoli at home to Spartak Moscow, Real Sociedad at home to Monaco and Lazio at home to Lokomotiv Moscow.
Europa League 21/22 Outright Winner Odds
Napoli or Bayer Leverkusen would be our bet to win the Europa League outright and both represent excellent value. Both are having excellent seasons and look strong. Leicester are massively overpriced. West Ham are strong again but lack the experience of combining league and European competition.

Europa League Matchday 2 Fixtures & Predictions
Europa League Matchday 2: Antwerp v Eintracht Frankfurt
Antwerp lost their first Europa League match 2-1 to Olympiacos and have half a team missing for Frankfurt’s visit.
Eintracht have yet to win in the league this season and have become draw specialists, drawing their last five Bundesliga matches, and they were held to a 1-1 draw in their first Europa League match against Fenerbahçe.
So they will be feeling the pressure here and it’s hard to back them for more than a draw against the Belgians, particularly at 1.9 for a team that hasn’t won all season.

Europa League Odds:
Home win: 3.75
Draw: 3.65
Away win: 1.9
EagleBet Europa League Matchday 2 prediction: draw
EagleBet tip: Draw is fantastic value as its all Eintracht do!

Europa League Matchday 2: Celtic v Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Leverkusen managed just a 2-1 victory over Ferencvaros in their opening Europa League match when every football expert was predicting a comfortable win for the Bundesliga club.
But Leverkusen sit second in the Bundesliga with four wins in five with a plus 9 goal difference having scored 16 goals in six Bundesliga matches.
Both teams have about five injured.

Given how Celtic often dominate Scottish football, their season has been disappointing, leaving them sixth. However, it’s their away form that’s terrible: they have three wins and a draw with 16 goals for and just one against in four home league games. Away day blues were evident when Celtic lost 4-3 to Betis in their first match.
Europa League Matchday 2 Odds:
Home win: 3.55
Draw: 3.75
Away win: 1.92
EagleBet Europa League Matchday 1 prediction: Leverkusen away win
EagleBet tip: Leverkusen to win – they have won six in seven Europa League matches when their odds have been under 2
EagleBet tip: Over 2.5 goals – Celtic score regularly at home while there have been over 2.5 goals in six of the last seven Leverkusen Europa League matches. Odds are not great at 1.64 but then it is very likely
Europa League Matchday 2: West Ham v Rapid Vienna
West Ham are enjoying the new experience of European competition after their 2-0 Europa League victory at Dinamo Zagreb.
They are also in largely good form having beaten Manchester United and should be far too good for Rapid. In Michail Antonio they have a striker on fire.

The Austrians lost 1-0 to Genk and have an injury list that would worry a hospital accident and emergency department.
They are also in terrible form having lost four of their last five.
Europa League Matchday 2 Odds:
Home win: 1.26
Draw: 5.45
Away win: 11.5
EagleBet Europa League prediction: home win for West Ham
EagleBet tip: Over 2.5 West Ham goals at 2.06 with Neo.bet

Europa League Matchday 2: Legia Warsaw v Leicester
Neither team is in great form and it’s hard to predict confidently a win from either team.
The 15 times Polish Champions have lost four out of seven matches going into this Europa League tie, and their goalkeeper described last weekend’s performance as “very bad”.
Still, the Poles did beat Spartak Moscow in their opening Europa League match while Leicester gained a creditable 2-2 home draw against favourites Napoli, albeit having been 2-0 up.
Given their poor Premier League form we think Leicester will hold back in this match for Sunday’s domestic match.
Leicester are creating chances but are conceding too easily with long-term defensive injuries.
They are without influential midfielder Wilfred Ndidi who is suspended.

Given that the Poles are even worse than Leicester we would bet on Leicester away but key striker Jamie Vardy –in brilliant form – is likely to be rested.
Therefore, exciting Kelechi Iheanacho – excellent when he comes on as sub – was due to get a long-awaited start but he has been banned from playing over a dispute over his travel documents.
Europa League Matchday 2 Odds:
Home win: 5.15
Draw: 3.75
Away win: 1.66
EagleBet Europa League prediction: draw (away win for Leicester poor value)
EagleBet tip: Over 2.5 goals at 1.8, plus Iheanacho to score an anytime goal at 2.4 both with Neo.bet
