English Premier League Predictions
Chelsea v Southampton
The season’s suddenly got bumpy for Chelsea, with defeats to Man City and Juventus. Having looked so potent up front, Chelsea’s attack has gone limp with only one shot in t two games.
The Saints should be soft opponents to ease Chelsea back to winning ways. They are 16th in the Premier League (four draws, two defeats in their first six).
Southampton have only scored four in those matches, though they have conceded just seven. There are only three teams to score more than Chelsea (12) with the Premier League’s second-tightest defence.
Between these two teams, just 9 goals have been conceded this season.
Southampton’s xG is terrible and perhaps the biggest, best bet is Southampton to be relegated at 4/1.
For this match, our prediction is Chelsea will win, but we identify better bets. Southampton will have 11 behind the ball and Chelsea will be leggy from their disappointing trip to Italy, so we wonder if they might struggle to score until the second half. We also doubt Southampton will score.
This means, according to our Premier League prediction, that the outright win for Chelsea will almost certainly come good but the odds (1.38) are unattractive.

Far nicer, at 1.9 with Neo.Bet, is Southampton not to score given they have only scored four in six and face the Premiership’s second best defence. The draw at half time (odds: 2.4) is tempting. Consider betting on Southampton to be relegated.
West Ham v Brentford
There haven’t been many London derbies between these two, but Brentford look so comfortable in the Premiership they could be veterans.
West Ham are higher in the league, more established and are at home, making them favourites.
Nevertheless, Brentford’s 3-3 draw with Liverpool last weekend shows they can compete with anyone.
Bet Michail Antonio for anytime goal at any odds around 2.4 – he has scored five in five – and this should be an attacking, open, high scoring match: five of the last involving the Hammers have contained 2.5 goals or over.
Our prediction: this could end in a draw and our tip would be bet on the draw at generous odds of 3.6 with Neo.bet. Also remember our tip: be sure to bet on an anytime goal from Antonio – the lad’s on fire!

Liverpool v Manchester City
Quite simply, this match is too difficult for us to call. We could argue you bet home, draw or away.
But are we confident about any of those scenarios? No: either of these teams could tear the other apart.
City look a little off form to us and the loss to PSG midweek has dented morale.

Liverpool, in contrast, will feel fairly fresh after beating Porto 5-1; winning does that.
But City beat Chelsea away last weekend in the Premier League while Liverpool only drew with Brentford.
So where’s the pattern?
In their last six games Liverpool have scored 17 and City 13; but 12 of those City goals came courtesy of RB Leipzig and Division 1 Wycombe.
The under 1.5 goal market is the only one we see any value in at odds of 4.3 with Neo.bet. There have been under 1.5 goals in City’s last three Premier League games. Yes Liverpool are scoring for fun but they face the meanest defence in the Premier League which has conceded only one league goal all season. Is it in these high level games where City pay the price for not having a recognised centre forward?
Bundesliga Predictions
FC Bayern Munich v Eintracht Frankfurt
Bayern are back to their formidable selves and have 6 Bundesliga wins in a row, and with others faltering they are opening an ominous 3-point gap at the top of the Bundesliga.
As always with such a dominant team there is little value in betting on a straight win as Bayern march on towards another Bundesliga title.

Frankfurt is yet to win a game this season in the Bundesliga but has five straight draws. Midweek they also secured a good victory away to Antwerp, courtesy of a last minute penalty.
Solid as Frankfurt have been defensively, you would be a brave bettor to predict Frankfurt will continue their Bundesliga draw sequence.
Incredibly, Bayern has scored at least three in the last 45 minutes of every home-game this season. So, opting for the 2nd half to be the highest scoring half for the home side at odds of 1.95 is a strong bet and would be our tip.
Borussia Dortmund v FC Augsburg
Prior to their surprise defeat last weekend, Dortmund had scored 20 goals in their previous seven Bundesliga matches so the over 3.5 goals in this one is far from crazy with Neo.bet at odds of 2.6. Erling Haaland to be first goalscorer at 2.85 is also interesting given he is in such good form.
