After drawing level with Liverpool forward Mo Salah on the last day, Son Heung-min will share the Premier League Golden Boot with the Egyptian.

Salah headed into the season’s last game with 22 goals, pursuing his third Golden Boot after winning it outright in 2017-18 (32 goals) and then sharing it with Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang the following season with 22 goals.

The Egyptian came off the bench to score from a corner after being introduced in the 58th minute against Wolves. Liverpool tried everything they could to win the title by winning all of their games, but Manchester City’s victory over Aston Villa meant it was all in vain.
Salah was followed by Tottenham’s Son Heung-min, who scored two second-half goals in Spurs’ 5-0 thrashing of relegated Norwich City, bringing his season total to 23 goals. The brace was a fitting way to end his most productive season with Spurs and the first in which he has outperformed hero Harry Kane.

Cristiano Ronaldo had a chance to add to his 18 goals, but he was left out of Ralf Rangnick’s team as United sunk to a 1-0 defeat at Crystal Palace, which summed up their poor season. The Portuguese superstar last led the league with 31 goals in 2007-08, and this season he was Manchester United’s top scorer.
