Are the bookies giving away money in two matches we have identified here by underestimating Norway and Wales? But first: several big countries are in action during the international break with matches starting on Friday with Germany v Romania, before the German team then heads to North Macedonia on Monday. England start on Saturday with what should be an easy match against Andorra, before the Three Lions face Hungary at Wembley on Tuesday. Other interesting international matches (and betting opportunities) on Friday include the Czech Republic v Wales, Turkey v Norway and Russia v Slovakia. On Saturday matches include Finland v Ukraine and Scotland v Israel, while Monday promises further action with Estonia v Wales, the Netherlands at home to Gibraltar (they must be terrified…) and Croatia v Slovakia.

Germany v Romania Betting Predictions

Germany is overwhelming favourite in this World Cup qualifier at odds of around 1.105 to win in Hamburg at the Volksparkstadion, with even the draw 8.2 and the way win 21 with Neo.bet.
Germany – set the target of reaching the World Cup semi-finals ‘at least’ by Hansi Flick – beat Romania 1-0 away in March (Serge Gnabry the scorer) and Romania are 42nd in the Fifa rankings.
You have to go back to 2020 when Romania pulled off a big win, 3-0 against Norway.
Most recently they drew 0-0 away to North Macedonia in a World Cup Qualifier. They have enjoyed a couple of recent victories but against minnows.
Romania are third in Group J, five points behind Germany (and one behind second-placed Armenia). Other than playmaker Alexandru Maxim who made 165 appearances in the Bundesliga (Mainz and VfB Stuttgart), their only player likely to mean much to German fans is Fortuna Dusseldorf centre half Dragos Nedelcu who plies his trade in Bundesliga 2.
In short, Germany should win this World Cup qualifier by a couple of goals.
Serge Gnabry to score at 1.84 with Neo.bet is one of the few bets we can consider on this one.
EagleBet World Cup Qualifier prediction: Germany to win
EagleBet World Cup Qualifier tip: Look out for the team selection and act quickly. If either Musiala (6 goals in ten for Bayern) along with another brilliant prospect Florian Wirtz of Bayer Leverkusen (six Bundesliga goals already this season) at decent odds they would certainly be worth betting on to be a goal scorer

Andorra v England Predictions

There is even less value in the outright betting markets in this World Cup Qualifier between tiny Andorra and the Euro beaten finalists.
Andorra are 40 (don’t – put your wallet away); the draw is 17; England are 1.01! All with Neo.bet.
More interesting though with the same bookmaker is the handicap/ over goals market.
A handicap of 3:0 at 1.82 for the away win must be tempting.
Similarly, England scoring over 3.5 goals at 1.72 is the bet here.
The first half handicap to be 2:0 to England at 3.95 is not completely crazy either.
Eaglebet World Cup Qualifier prediction: away win
EagleBet World Cup Qualifier tip: consider one of the handicap/ goals over bets we have suggested above with Neo.bet
Czech Republic v Wales Betting Predictions

Finally some value! The Czech Republic are ranked 31 by Fifa, Wales 19, yet the Czech’s are the clear favourites with the bookies.
Neo.bet offers 1.68 on the Czechs, a generous 3.4 on the draw and 5.25 on an away win for Wales in this World Cup qualifying match.
The Welsh actually won this fixtures at home back in march 1-0.
Gareth Bale’s team won their last away match (3-2 against Belarus) and before that secured a creditable 0-0 draw away to Finland.
Admittedly their last World Cup qualifier was a disappointing 0-0 at home to Estonia but this is a team that beat Turkey 2-0 in the Euros and only lost to eventual champions Italy 1-0. In short, Wales are not an easy team to beat.
However, we are not so confident as to bet on Wales outright for the win.
The Czechs are a decent team who got to the quarter finals of the Euros, beating the Netherlands on the way.
In the World Cup qualifiers they have lost to Belgium (no disgrace, though it was 3-0,) drew at home to Ukraine and beat Belarus 1-0.
They have been struggling for goals a bit.
Another factor we leave you with: gamblers always underestimate the probability of the draw, which consequently can be excellent value. It is here.
Eaglebet World Cup Qualifier prediction: draw
EagleBet World Cup Qualifier tip: Consider a bet on Wales with a handicap 1:0 at odds of 2.1 but by far the best value is the draw at odds of 3.4.

Turkey v Norway Predictions
The bookies look like they are being even more generous to us punters in this match!
So Neo.bet is offering around 2.1 on Turkey for the home win. Fine. But you can also get 3.3 on the draw and 3.4 on the away win.
We will come clean: we really don’t rate Turkey at the moment. Indeed, we think they are rubbish, reflected in three defeats in five.
Against the Netherlands recently they lost 6-1 away (Norway drew 1-1 at home against the Dutch). Turkey couldn’t beat Montenegro at home, and lost 3-1 to Switzerland away and 2-0 to Wales at home.
Not that Norway are great, for sure. Indeed, according to Fifa Norway is 39 and Turkey is 41.
So why the odds?
Firstly, they are without Erling Haaland with a knee injury (Dortmund fans relax: yes he has missed a few games but his absence here is “precautionary” so he should be in good shape for the return of the Bundesliga).
Secondly, Turkey won the corresponding fixture 3-0. However, Norway had a player sent off and actually had a lot more of the game.
Norway have scored in 14 of their last 15 World Cup qualifiers.
We are not saying Norway will necessarily do well, we just don’t think the odds are a fair reflection.
Which gives you, the punter, an opportunity for a profitable World Cup qualifier bet.
Eaglebet World Cup Qualifier prediction: draw
EagleBet World Cup Qualifier tip: There are several bets we like here. A handicap 0:1 at odds of 1.68 on Norway is tempting. We also really like Norway at 2.42 draw no bet as we just can’t see Turkey winning this. Either of these are leaving us hovering over the bet slip but we are going to bet on the draw.
Other World Cup Qualifier Bets
Lithuania v Bulgaria – Bulgaria to win at 1.95 is worth thinking about as Lithuania play like a drunk pub side and have lost their last five.
Azerbaijan v the Republic of Ireland – Ireland have drawn three of their last five and the draw at 3.1 is interesting.
Farao Islands v Austria – Marko Arnautovic for first goalscorer at 5 (only market in this match with any value).
