Both Jakub Voracek (Philadelphia Flyers) and David Krejci (Boston Bruins) have scored over 200 goals and made over 450 assists, while Petr Mrazek (Carolina Hurricanes) and David Rittich (Calgary Flames) are both renowned goaltenders.

How WSM League works
National excellence is assisted by the cap on foreign players; each franchise is only allowed five non-Czech players. Over a 52-game season with a play-off round, two champions emerge. If a team wins their semi-final they play off against one of the bottom two teams in the Superliga. This means there is no guarantee of promotion, only odds of 50:50.
This play-off was introduced for the 2012/13 season and, in the first play-off, both BK Mladá Boleslav and Olomouc lost out. The two also finished in the top two places in the 2013/14 season, having failed in their promotion play-off game.
In the 2018/19 season Motor Ceske Budejovice and Rytiri Kladno – owned, incidentally, by Jagr – finished in the top two in the Czech Chance League, something to remember when betting on matches.
